Sanctuary Renovations

Our first gathering will start at 9am and the second gathering at 11am. Both services will be identical and will last about 1 hour and 10 minutes. We want to encourage you to arrive earlier than normal during these 3 weeks to allow for disruptions and help things run smoothly.

Because the auditorium at the AT&T Center seats 300 people, we need the services to be equally attended so that everyone is able to participate in gathered worship. To help organize this, we are asking you to attend service with your Gospel Community based on the following breakdown:

Yes, Providence Kids will be able to use their normal space downstairs at UA during both the 9am and 11am services. We ask that families arrive 15 minutes before the start of each service to allow plenty of time to check your kids in and walk over to the AT&T Center. Depending on the status of renovations, the entrance to PK might need to change, but we will clearly communicate those details each week. Email Claire Uliana with any questions.

Our Torch students (4th-5th grade) will not be meeting separately during these weeks; they will resume as soon as we get back into the sanctuary. However, our Youth students (6th-12th grade) will be gathering on their normal schedule (Sep. 24 and Oct. 8) over in the Activity Center at UA. Contact Stephen Smith with any questions.

Thankfully, our parking options have not changed! You can park in the surface lot at MLK and Colorado, the state parking garage at 17th St and Colorado, and the AT&T Garage. As a reminder, do not park in the smaller UA lot attached to the building; that is reserved for UA members.

No, this is not a plan for the future, but rather a temporary necessity to complete renovation work in the sanctuary. The auditorium we are using at the AT&T Center holds about 300 people, while our sanctuary holds 600. So, two services are needed during these 3 weeks to allow everyone to participate in gathered worship.
