DESCRIPTION:On Good Friday\, we will gather to remember the death of Jesus. The Innocent One was punished; the Healer was wounded; the Teacher was silenced; the Son was forsaken. On Easter morning we will celebrate the empty tomb\, but on Good Friday we remember the wrath of God poured out on Christ\, who suffered once for sins\, the righteous for the unrighteous\, that he might bring us to God (1 Peter 3:18). Children are more than welcome\, but no childcare will be provided.

DESCRIPTION:What do we believe and why do we believe it? This seven-week course is designed to introduce you to a systematic treatment of theology\, leading to both Christ-centered worship and the living-out of doctrinal truths. We will explore some of the most foundational doctrines of our faith together: How do we know anything about God?\, What is God like?\, What is the gospel?\, What roles do faith and works play in our salvation?\, What is the mission of the church? \nEach week we will focus on one of these core doctrines by examining key biblical passages\, reading select chapters from Louis Berkhof’s Manual of Christian Doctrine\, interacting over important concepts and questions\, and making personal application to our daily lives. DESCRIPTION:We hope you can join us Saturday\, December 12th\, for our indoor worship service! \nAbout this Event\nOur next indoor service will be Saturday\, December 12th at 10AM! Please RSVP for you and your family so we can properly prepare for the service. We will once again be filming that service and making it available on Sunday morning for those that cannot make it. \nDetails:\n\nLocation: University Avenue Church of Christ. You can park in the AT&T Parking Garage which is across University Avenue from the church. Please bring your parking ticket in with you to get it validated for free parking.\nSeating: We will be observing social distancing norms and there should be ample room to space out.\nMasks: We will be wearing masks while indoors.\n\nGuidelines:\n\nObserve social distancing recommendations.\nWear a mask while you are indoors. We will have single use masks available if you need one.\nCommunion servers will give individual wafers and communion cups to each person.
