In his first letter, the apostle Peter calls believers to stand firm in grace, live with hope, and reflect Christ in a world that may not understand or share their faith. This 10-week women’s study will walk through 1 Peter, helping us grow in our confidence that the gospel is true—and in living like it every day.

Three of our own Providence members have spent this year studying 1 Peter, writing, and praying over this study for us. Together, we’ll explore the hope we have in Jesus, God’s sovereign rule in a chaotic world, our identity as His chosen people, and how to live as faithful sojourners. We’ll learn to prepare our minds for action, apply the gospel in practical ways, and build unity as we live out God’s mission together.

When is it?
There are two options:

1. Friday Mid-Morning (10:00-11:30am)
   Day: Every Friday from Sep. 11 – Nov. 13
   Location: Chapel at University Avenue Church of Christ
2. Friday Early Morning (7:00-8:15am)
   Day: Every Friday from Sep. 11 – Nov. 13
   Location: Chapel at University Avenue Church of Christ

Will there be childcare?
For the mid-morning (10:00 – 11:30a) group only. Make sure to register your child(ren) when you sign up.

What is the cost?
It will be $20 to help cover the price of the materials. $5 extra per kid for childcare. Let us know if you have any questions or need help with costs.
