On Good Friday, we will gather to remember the death of Jesus. The Innocent One was punished; the Healer was wounded; the Teacher was silenced; the Son was forsaken. On Easter morning we will celebrate the empty tomb, but on Good Friday we remember the wrath of God poured out on Christ, who suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God (1 Peter 3:18). Children are more than welcome, but no childcare will be provided.
