Providence Mentorship is a 10-month program that matches people for one-on-one discipleship. The goal is to build a relationship in which a mentor can help you mature in faith through truth, wisdom, accountability, encouragement, and prayer.

Who
Anyone who has the desire and availability to be discipled. Once you sign up, we will match you with an available mentor. Please note that we are generally a young church, so “mentor” does not always mean someone who is much older than you. It might mean someone who is just a little further down the road in age or life experiences.
What
The program consists of three basic commitments:
Time. You will meet with a mentor twice a month for 10 months. This is not meant to replace your GC or D-Group. Please consider your ability to make this commitment.
Content. Your time together will involve focused study and/or discussion of biblical content (e.g. a Bible study, Bible reading plan, Christian book, etc.). This is meant to foster deeper connection with God and each other. Start here, and conversation about life will follow.
Intentionality. You will have opportunities to share about your life, ask questions, and take steps of faith. The key to successful formation is stepping into these things with a willingness to be discipled (taught, challenged, encouraged, etc.)
When & Where
The program will start in March and end in December. We will send an email to each mentor/mentee pair with next steps on how to get started. Meeting details will be left for you to decide and schedule.
